Project Unified: violence prevention and support at La Trobe
La Trobe established Project Unified, a university-wide programme committed to violence prevention and support. Project Unified is dedicated to ensuring we provide a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors across campuses.
Our commitment is to listen, believe and support those affected by violence or at risk of violence to ensure no one within the La Trobe community feels unsafe or alone. Our team is responsible for developing a framework for the university on how we can engage in primary prevention and best support members of our community. You can find out more about our project here: www.latrobe.edu.au/violence-prevention
We are interested in hearing from staff and students in relation to experiences of how the University addresses incidents of violence and unacceptable behaviour, if you are aware of any. Further, we would like to seek input on best practice solutions to inform the report and strategy for La Trobe.
