Orientation 2009
Events are planned for orientation 2009. You can download a printable version of Orientation activities here. All orientation activities are open to both TAFE and University students.

Tuesday 24th February
12-1pm - Free BBQ (including vegetarian) and market stalls on the lawn behind TAFE building A

7-8pm - Free BBQ (including vegetarian) on the lawn behind TAFE building A

Wednesday 25th February
12-2pm - Free BBQ lunch, music and games with DJ Steve Bowen at the Hangar
Sign up to take the bus to Albury after Pub Trivia tonight (limited seats available)
Graduation

7pm - Free movie night - all ages welcome - Room 6101 at La Trobe University

7-10pm - Pub Trivia and Bar Games at the Hangar. Bar open (18+only). Nibbles will be provided.
Cost $3 per person. Sign up at the Hangar.
Prizes have been donated by Pre-mix King Wodonga.

10pm - catch the bus to Albury for Uni Night (cost to be announced)

Thursday 26th February
12pm - Free BBQ lunch (including vegetarian) and jukebox at the Hangar.

6pm - TAFE versus Uni lawn bowls on campus (all age event)
Event depends on adequate numbers so please sign up at the Hangar to play.

7:30pm - Beach Party (18+ ID required)
Live band and New Direction bar at the Hangar. Happy hour 8-9pm
Entry $5 before 9pm; $10 after 9pm.

Friday 27th February
12-1pm - $2 hotdogs at the Hangar

9:30pm - meet-up at a local pub (details to be announced)

Monday 2nd March
12-1:30pm - Wodonga Council Event (details to be confirmed)
La Trobe University market day - stalls around the Hangar
Sign up for 2009 student activities and clubs

8pm - Toga Party featuring a Greek Olympiad (18+ ID required)
Dress in a Toga, or if you can't find a sheet just come as you are.
No pass-outs before 10:30pm
Happy hour 8-9pm
Entry: $5 before 9, $10 after 9pm.

Tuesday 3rd March
4pm - Hitch-hiker's Guide to Wodonga
Meet and Greet sessions at the Hangar
Get tips from fellow students about university, and what students need to know about Albury-Wodonga including discounts available.

Wednesday 4th March
12-1:30pm - $2 hotdogs at the Hangar
Free jukebox and activities
Sign up for 2009 student activities and clubs

6pm - "The Famous" Pub Crawl (18+)
Experience the 'night-life' of Albury-Wodonga with hundreds of other students.
Entry - $10
18+ ID required and will be checked by security
Bar opens at 6pm
You MUST purchase your entry wrist-band before 6:45.
Buses leave at 7pm
There will be a late bus for students who have late classes. It will leave at 7:30pm if there are adequate numbers. Make sure you sign up on the Late Bus list.

9:30pm - Meet-up at a local pub - details to be announced

Graduation
WSA's annual Graduation Cocktail Party will be held at the Quality Hotel on Olive on 17th April, 2009. You can find information on booking and purchasing tickets here.
